1) The piece of sodium rapidly melts into a silvery-white ball which run on the surface of the water, making a hissing sound and soon catches fire. The universal indicator change from green to blue.
2) Caesium is a very reactive metal which reacts vigorously with oxygen and water in air. Therefore, it should be stored under dry argon which is an inert gas.
